Our Favorite Disney World Dining

From Snacks to Suppers, These Are Our Most Craved Meals in the Magic!
When it comes to Walt Disney World vacations, food isn’t just fuel—it’s part of the magic. From character meals to barbecue feasts, from food truck vibes to fine dining experiences, there’s something for everyone (and every appetite). Our family loves to plan around food, and over the years, we’ve built a list of go-to favorites we return to again and again.

We’ve narrowed down our top picks across three key categories:
🍽️ Theme Park Table Service
🍔 Theme Park Quick Service
🍹 Disney Springs Table Service
Let’s count down our family favorites in each one!
We’ve ranked each from 5 to 1—saving the best for last, of course! Let’s dig in…
Theme Park Table Service
Where the atmosphere is as delicious as the food.
When we’re ready to sit down, relax, and enjoy a full meal in the middle of a park day, table service is our go-to. These restaurants bring storytelling, comfort food, and just enough air-conditioning to recharge us for more park fun.
#5 – Plaza Restaurant (Magic Kingdom)

Small, charming, and tucked away at the end of Main Street, Plaza is a hidden gem for a more peaceful sit-down meal. It feels like stepping into a quaint Victorian ice cream parlor. The sandwiches are solid, the desserts are delightful, and the view of the castle? Always magical.
#4 – Crystal Palace (Magic Kingdom)

This character buffet is all about nostalgia for us. Winnie the Pooh and friends, windows overlooking the hub, and an all-you-care-to-enjoy spread that works for every appetite. It’s a classic for a reason!
#3 – Woody’s Roundup BBQ (Hollywood Studios)

Relatively new but already a favorite, Woody’s Roundup offers family-style barbecue with a fun Toy Story twist. The theming is charming, the food is hearty, and there’s something for everyone—even the picky eaters!
#2 – Liberty Tree Tavern (Magic Kingdom)

We love the old-school colonial theming, but we really love the Thanksgiving-style meal served all day long. The ooey gooey toffee cake might just be one of the best desserts in all of Walt Disney World.
#1 – Space 220 (EPCOT)

Dining in space? Count us in! From the immersive elevator ride to the stellar views of Earth, Space 220 is an out-of-this-world experience (pun fully intended). The elevator to space, the “view” of Earth, and the futuristic vibe all wow us every time. The food is surprisingly great, too! It’s our favorite place for a meal that’s as much an attraction as it is a restaurant.
Theme Park Table Service Wrap-Up:

Walt Disney World knows how to create immersive dining, and these table service spots are where we slow down and soak in the storytelling. Whether we’re blasting off to orbit or grabbing seconds of stuffing, these meals stick in our memory long after the last bite.
Theme Park Quick Service
Fast, flavorful, and theme park tested.
Sometimes, you just want great food without the wait. When you’re on the go, quick service meals are lifesavers. But we don’t settle for just any burger-and-fries combo—we seek out the flavorful, the fresh, and the fun.
#5 – Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes (Animal Kingdom)

A quick-service surprise! The honey chicken, teriyaki beef, and fried rice here feel like way more than your average theme park fare.
#4 – Ronto Roasters (Hollywood Studios)

The Ronto Wrap is one of our go-to Galaxy’s Edge eats. It’s tasty, portable, and packs just enough kick to wake up your taste buds before jumping into line for Rise of the Resistance.
#3 – Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Café (Magic Kingdom)

We’ve loved this spot for years. It’s Tex-Mex comfort food with plenty of options. Bonus points for the toppings bar (when it’s available), and there’s lots of shaded seating—perfect on a hot day.
#2 – Regal Eagle Smokehouse (EPCOT)

Barbecue + Sam Eagle = one of our favorite lunches at EPCOT. The brisket sandwich is a family fave, and we love trying the different regional sauces. Plus, you can usually grab a seat inside or out without much fuss.
#1 – Flame Tree Barbecue (Animal Kingdom)

Our quick service king! The smoky pulled pork, the ribs, the baked beans—everything here is a win. Add in the relaxing views of Discovery River and Expedition Everest in the distance? Perfection.
Theme Park Quick Service Wrap-Up:

These quick service spots deliver big on flavor and fun without slowing us down. Whether we’re in Batuu, Liberty Square, or near the Tree of Life, these are the places we crave trip after trip.
Disney Springs Table Service
When the parks close, we head here to keep the flavors going.
Some of our best Disney meals happen outside the parks. Disney Springs is our go-to spot for dinner dates, family nights, and lazy vacation evenings. Here are the spots we love most.
#5 – TIE: D-Luxe Burger & Wine Bar George

Okay, we couldn’t agree on just one for this spot. D-Luxe Burger has the best burgers and fries combo in Disney Springs (and amazing dipping sauces), while Wine Bar George has small plates, stellar service, and the best wine list on property. It all depends on our mood!
#4 – The Polite Pig

A fast-casual barbecue spot that punches way above its weight. The smoked chicken and crispy Brussels sprouts are standout hits, and the bourbon bar gets a nod from That Beer Guy and That Military Guy.
#3 – The BOATHOUSE

Great seafood, beautiful waterside views, and a menu that pleases the whole family. We’ve celebrated birthdays here and watched the Amphicars roll by. It always feels a little extra special.
#2 – Raglan Road

Live Irish music, delicious fish & chips, and bread pudding that will change your life. The atmosphere is always buzzing, and the food is consistently great. Bonus points if you catch the dancers mid-meal!
#1 – Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’

It’s Southern comfort food done right. The fried chicken, mac & cheese, and moonshine cocktails are family favorites. Every visit feels like a warm hug—and we never leave hungry!
Disney Springs Dining Wrap-Up:

Disney Springs gives us the chance to enjoy amazing meals without park reservations or rushing. These table service spots offer atmosphere, flavor, and a perfect way to wrap up a Disney day.
